Move Physio-Led Pilates in Stirling
Move Physio-Led Pilates are mat-work based classes in Stirling that follow the APPI Pilates method. All pilates classes are suitable for beginners. The classes include a variety of exercises to improve spinal and joint mobility, flexibility, body awareness, postural awareness, core control. The classes will also include full body strengthening and toning.
We use the addition of small equipment like Pilates rings, resistance bands, weights and soft balls to help challenge you further and progress strengthening.

1:1 or Small Group Matwork Pilates
If you prefer to work on a one to one basis or with 1-2 friends then these sessions are for you. One to one sessions may be more beneficial if you have a specific problem or rehabilitation need following surgery or an injury.
These sessions allow for more bespoke exercises resulting in greater progressions and results. The bespoke program created for you can be sent to your email for you to continue your exercises at home. These small groups can also be tailored to specific sports (golf, swimming, running, weight lifting) to ensure your new progressions will transfer to in your loved sports.
How Move Pilates Works

Step 1: 15 min phone call
Before your first block we will arrange a 15 minute call. This is for us to find out your medical history, injury history, current problems and your goals.
Step 2: Booking in for your 6 week block
After your assessment, we will discuss available classes at suitable level for yourself and get you booked into the next pilates block. Pilates blocks run for 6 weeks. Unfortunately if you miss a class this cannot be refunded.


Step 3: What to expect from your class
Our classes are small with 6 people at a maximum. This is to allow us to ensure everyone is doing proper technique and working at their appropriate level. Our classes have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
I’m loving the pilates classes with Gillian. She is very professional in all she does and is happy to discuss any personalised exercises you need to do. I would recommend these classes to everyone whether a beginner or advanced and to both young and old.

Gillian’s Classes are just the best! I have been to my fair share of different classes over the years that I haven’t been able to stick at but Gillians are much different.
